Will syncing affect Autodesk Forge API consumption costs?
Yes — we use the standard Autodesk APIs. We batch and back off automatically; most customers stay well within standard rate limits.
Are RVT, IFC, and DWG all supported?
Yes. DMS Sync treats them as files; metadata mapping is independent of format.
Can we restrict sync to issued/approved revisions only?
Yes. Rules can filter by label, metadata field (e.g. Status = Approved), or revision number.
Does this replace our CDE?
No. DMS Sync is the bridge between CDEs and other platforms, not a CDE itself. Use it alongside your existing common data environment.
