Connect ProStream and Microsoft SharePoint
ProStream connects via an API key issued by your ProStream tenant administrator. Microsoft SharePoint connects with OAuth 2.0 against Microsoft Entra ID (formerly Azure AD), either as a delegated user or app-only via client credentials.
Map ProStream document sets to SharePoint libraries
Pick a ProStream document set (or section) on one side and a SharePoint document library on the other. ProStream metadata — zaaknummer, doc type, fase — maps to SharePoint columns so the destination library is searchable on the same fields.
Filter by ProStream state and schedule
Rules filter by ProStream state (Concept, Issued, Approved), file type, last-modified, or SharePoint column value. Schedule hourly, daily or on demand. Every sync run is logged file by file.

Yes. Each sync task lets you map ProStream metadata fields to SharePoint columns of your choice. The destination library is searchable and filterable by the same fields.
Does ProStream's document state machine work with the sync?
Yes. Rules let you sync only documents in a chosen ProStream state (e.g. only Issued + Approved, never Concept). State changes can also trigger a sync run automatically.
How is SharePoint version history handled?
Each new ProStream revision arrives as a new SharePoint version, preserving SharePoint's native versioning. The ProStream revision identifier is also written into a configurable SharePoint column.
Performance for large document sets?
DMS Sync uses SharePoint's chunked upload sessions for files over 4 MB. A multi-thousand-document ProStream set completes a backfill in minutes to hours depending on file sizes and your Microsoft 365 tenant quotas.
Does this require a ProStream API license?
You need ProStream Connect API access enabled on your tenant — your ProStream administrator can confirm. DMS Sync handles all the rate limiting and reconnect logic.
